Silk Way West Airlines employees were awarded on the occasion of their professional holiday

On the occasion of June 2 – Civil Aviation Day, a number of our colleagues were awarded for their high professionalism and perseverance. In regard of the professional holiday, by the order of the Minister of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan Rashad Nabiyev, the company's employees were awarded. Hence, Silk Way West Airlines employees- Vice President of Flight Operations Rasim Ashrafov, First Officer of Boeing 747-400/8F Ruslan Bayramov, as well as Aviation Technician for Aviation and Radio-Electronic Equipment of the company's Silk Way Technics branch Anatoly Yeremeyev, were awarded the medal "For services in the field of civil aviation."   

President of Silk Way Group Mr. Zaur Akhundov personally congratulated the award-winning employees on their professional holiday, presented the awards, and wished them success. 

"We are always happy with the success of our national aviation and the achievements of our employees. I would like to express my special gratitude for your high perseverance and selfless work. I wish each of you new achievements and success in your professional activity!” – said Zaur Akhundov in his address to the staff.

It should be noted that by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated May 18, 2006, June 2 is celebrated as a professional holiday of civil aviation workers.
